About the photographer and artist

I am not a big fan of talking about myself, but let's give this a go. I am a female in my 20's living in Greensboro, North Carolina. I grew up in a small Floridian town, moved into the city life of Tampa at age 18, and recently sought the mountains and seasons of North Carolina.

I have many, many interests, and a few loves. Photography is high on my list of loves, #2 actually. Music is #1, and snowboarding and art make an appearance before I get into the likes.

My photographic and artistic styles can vary widely. I work in realism, abstract, mixed media, and anything else that may catch my interest. I like exploring new methods and areas..

My art/photo FaceBook page is here. My normal Facebook page is here. I tend to pay more attention to that last one..

Equipment

My body is currently a Canon 10D. My assortment of lenses includes a standard Tamron 28-80, and a Tamron XR Di 28-75 f/2.8*. My next big purchase will either be a telephoto lens or with patience and many print sales (hint), a telescope, so that I can pursue astrophography.

* Equipment subject to change as my care-taking skills and the environments I force my poor camera through leave something to be desired.
